The first thing that struck me about Zaria Brown, besides her flawless style, was her gorgeous smile! Zaria runs the blog, A Dose of Fab, in which she features her style looks as style "prescriptions", and they are just what the doctor ordered! Though she's always polished, she also has fun with her style, like this adorable dinosaur shirt that she wore in a recent post! You should check her out! You can find Zaria on A Dose of Fab or on instagram

My Week In Review

Last weekend and this past week were incredibly busy for me! As I mentioned last week, I am starting a coding bootcamp at the end of this month to learn Front-End web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, AngularJS, Node.js, NPM,  and AJAX / json). It's all very exciting, but also a lot to wrap your head around in the eight weeks the course will be taking place!

Last weekend Gabe and I spent time on the West side of the state, for Grid-Life, a motorsports and music festival! It was definitely a different scene than I am used to, but Gabe and his older brother are classic car aficionados, and both have classic cars from the 1970s! We spent the weekend in Raphael (Gabe's older brother) and his fiancé Jen's RV. It was my first time "camping" and I was told many times that staying in an RV is the glam version of camping! All in all, it was a great weekend, and it made me appreciate all the hard work that Gabe has put in restoring his car (he's fixed it all on his own!). We also got the chance to visit South Haven, which is a cute town right on lake Michigan!

If you follow me on instagram, you'll see that I was able to get back to my yoga practice this week. I've definitely been slacking on working out, and have definitely NOT cut out anything (though I should) of my diet. French fries are my weakness ya'll!

In between bootcamp homework, I was able to check out The Ten Nail Bar in Detroit, and treat myself to a manicure and pedicure! The nail salon is so nice and relaxing, plus they offer you champagne and mimosas during your visit! I can't wait to head back, and my lovely maid of honor, Laila, has already booked a visit for me and my ladies during my bachelorette party weekend in August!

My Weekend

This weekend I have my second wedding dress fitting scheduled in New Jersey, with my future Uncle-in-law, the fabulous Jean-Ralph Thurin. Gabe and I are spending the night Sunday in NYC! I'm excited to explore one of my favorite cities and see friends and family there!

What do you have planned for this weekend? I'd love to hear your plans! You can comment below or find me on FacebookInstagram or email. I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Thank you so much for visiting!
